Daily Events – Lakeside For Youth | Christian Church Camp for Senior High and Junior High campers

Meals

Campers have breakfast on their own. Youth groups in private housing fix their own breakfast. Lunch and dinner are served in Wesley Lodge.

Morning Watch

Monday - Friday our day is started at the gazebo by the lake. Each day a different youth group signs up to lead us in worship.

Usually this lasts around 15 - 20 minutes and is filled with sketches, scripture, songs and laughter!

Praise & Worship

We sing songs with Pastor Todd for about 45 minutes.

This is an interactive event, not just sitting in chairs signing hymns!

Senior High Impact Speaker

Our impact speakers will guide us through our theme. Following our 45 minutes with the impact speaker we will break into discussion groups to discuss his message.

Junior High and Senior High will each have an impact speaker.

Worship Time

The Worship Team is a mix of very talented Christian musicians. They lead us is singing contemporary worship songs before our evening program.

Free Time

Just like it sounds... each day campers get two to three hours to do their own thing. You might want to participate in the volleyball or basketball tournaments, shop downtown Lakeside, swim in the lake, go putter golfing, explore Lakeside or just hang out with friends new and old!

interest groups

Senior High campers select 2 interest groups that they will attend Monday through Friday for 45 minutes each day. One bible study type group for lunch time and one active group for dinner time.

No need for Junior High campers to register for interest groups. You will rotate between set groups.

Evening Programs

The evening program for campers changes each night. Every year we end our week with communion and a candle light walk.
